Never Give Up

you may twist lies and tread me in the dirt but I'll still rise does my sassiness upset you? does my sexiness uspet you? I dance like I've got diamonds but I'll still rise. Im a black ocean leaping and wide bringing the gifts my ancestors gave me I am the dream and the hope of a slave but I'll still rise.
