‘Welcome to my world’ by Nia

Welcome to my world.

Hugh Everett discovered there could be multiple dimensions where we exist as different people

Same face, new style, new intentions that we can not recognise

Each world a new lease on life, yet in every dimension we are still ourselves.

The ones that could have been vs those that will be.

10 years ago, in an earlier dimension

I was a different girl, a louder and brighter one

From childhood hands blotted in paint

To walls covered in colour

I was a girl with a spark no one could smother

But life falters

colours fade,

And dimensions grow Wider, Bigger, Vaster

Suddenly your find yourself a much duller one

Our current one

Where difference is equal to disease

And creativity is replaced by the fake and phony.

I could list a thousand reasons to tell you why hate AI

It’s dumb, and fake, and it doesn’t have to try to copy

The creatives. The originals. The creators.

Yet AI is no different to us.

Artificial.

Altered by humans rather than occurring naturally

Our stereotypes,

Our rules furnished into society.

That thin line harbouring on, fiction and reality.

Who’s to say that we are not just as fake as Ai?

We pick flowers to preserve their beauty but kill them in the same breath.

We conceal our past mistakes until nothing is left.

A blank wall a clean Slate.

Another life an alternate fate.

Each day a new trend another swipe a different outlet.

A filtered image, the same photoshopped puppet

Could you tell the difference between AI and human?

No.

My Society, is also built on artificial foundations.

We have life systematically pumped into our systems

Pressurised and filtered into schools.

Digitalised and coded formulas to maintain the rules.

This is the world I am forced to live in.

Is this truly My dimension?

I am constantly asking that repetitive question.

Are you real? Am i real? Is any of this real?

Welcome to my world.
