‘The Light over the Border’ by Izzy

Like a firework, the sky lit up surrounding the barrier of rocks only a few steps away from me. Suddenly, all I could catch a glimpse of was the beaming rays of blue and green light.

Although the sky was loud and bright, the land was as silent as a mouse. Every breath, every moment was engulfed into the mysterious atmosphere.

The open space was filled with fresh air, waiting to be free. The air smelt pure and relaxing.

The flavour of the air was natural and free. Although there was a clear border above us in the sky, down here all of that was ignored.

The two toned lights filled the sky, leaving the open space empty and free.

The land was open and free, but over the border in the sky there was an obvious barrier of light.
