Words are formed when air
Travels from the lungs, through the larynx,
But to me, words are formed when fear
Takes over the broken spirits.
Words create bonds when used right,
But also breaks them when used wrong,
Words and humans always fight,
Not knowing that they are tightly clung.
Actions speak louder than words,
Then why do words hurt so much than actions?
Scattered we are in this huge world,
Dying from the words that are inside, slashing.
People, families who were as close as bees,
Separated from the words that were lashed,
Strangers who once shared a kiss
Are now distant than most of the seas.
If you were to count the hearts
That were broken by words,
You could make a thousand charts
To realise they only needed to be heard.
“Love your neighbour”, he said.
How can you love a stranger when
People with the same blood are lying dead,
Because leaders want political gain.
