In my world everything is the same routine, same day, same week, same month, same year. Robots are everything. I mean everything; all you need to do is wake up and go to sleep again. However today was different.
I woke up and went on my morning walk with my dog. I told the robot to clean the house while I was gone. I saw “Clean up in progress” pop up on the dimly lit screen. Under that followed “Time left 1 hour.” The door opened, I walked out and started my run.
My dog was trailing behind but I left it. I don’t know what went through my head: if you don’t have any of your robots during the inspection then you will be taken to be questioned. If you fail to locate YOUR dog within the time limit you are set then you can get arrested. I got home to find my robot ramming itself into the wall. “That’s odd,” I thought to myself. I spun it around and I was surprised to see it saying “Time remaining 2 hours.”
Suddenly.
BANG.BANG.BANG
Oh no its the inspection though. Luckily it was just my friend i said open the door. She walked in and was shocked. “Where’s your dog” she asked. It normally barked at her when she walked in the house. Then she questioned “Please don’t tell me you have lost him” with a serious look “You can’t have lost him.”
“No no no, I haven’t lost him.” I said
“Then where is he” my friend stressed
“He’s in the garage” i lied
We walked into the garage.
“Are you for real” she angrily said “You know what can happen.”
Almost straight after she said that
Ding Dong
The doorbell rang.
“That’s how to ring the door” i exclaimed
It was the inspector and I was terrified. We slowly crept towards the door. But suddenly it swung open. I forgot that the inspector could open the door.
“Beep Beep Beep Beep.”
“Inspection starting”
The inspection finally finished and the mechanical voice spat at me
“Where is your dog”
I said “ Are you for real”
“Hes in the garage” i replied
“If you do not have him within 1 hour you will be arrested.” he projected.
It had now been an hour and I did not have him. I was about to walk through the door when I heard a noise. It was my robot. I walked through the door and saw it smashing through all the luxury items in my house.
