In the most interesting form of art,
Hear all of the sharps and the flats,
Or maybe read The Cat in the Hat,
With villains scheming,
Passing tricks and tales,
And heroes gleaming,
Often wearing veils,
Words are so powerful to show mood and feeling,
And are often very clever at healing,
But words aren’t always used in a nice way,
And can sometimes make people feel bad during their day,
Books are wonderful at making people smile,
Through their secret power of spreading joy,
Books make reading very worthwhile,
And spread happiness to every girl and boy,
Some stories can make you make you feel hurt,
Some stories can make you feel joy,
Some stories can make you feel anger,
But most importantly all stories make you embrace the power of words.
