‘Power of an Archivist’s Breakthrough’ by Sebastian, age 15, Wolverhampton

Heed from calamitous choirs erstwhile known to reign from up above thee!

Infinite titles impotently bestowed upon triumphant crowns

Mighty prestige granted from blighted love within complacent idols

Hail agued tomes – once divine, once tenacious, then decayed; now frail.

Shameless fame and fortune thought to thrive best within things destined to rule

More libations poured to dedicate crafted leaders who print to shine

Those streams holding undisputed power that few masses dared to quench

Unknowingly cursing their tributes to be granted finite favour

Centuries swindled ravenous egos obscuring their fall from Man

Evolving evermore past obscured visions of wretched privilege

Those sights burned to dust and shattered like spirits within unchallenged minds

Blind and helpless, sickly and secluded; diverse books cast in shadow.

When light beams, their tales discovered true;

There lie the Poets, doomed to rise anew.
