Being an immigrant,
Means to be different,
Leaving everything behind,
In order to find.
A new country,
In order to run free.
Carry your baggage,
And learn a new language,
No matter how difficult,
And being diffident.
The feeling of arrival,
A new place for survival,
As the fresh air hits your face,
As it’s signalling a new place.
Finally of the plane,
Never again,
Passing the warder,
Over the border.
