‘I have no work’ by Ishaan Ahmed Gosal, ‘Kane’, age 11, Year 9, Mayfield School, Dagenham

I am a snake

When I speak it’s like something venomous comes out

of me,

A tone so sharp that it pierces peoples ears,

As I hiss and slither through lands of people that don’t care,

I speak once my poison comes out,

I’d like to see you care,

I have a doubt.

I try my hardest yet I don’t pull through,

My name is Ishaan and I never have a clue,

I love doing things especially speaking.

I can’t even do what I like without people screaming,

As my venom comes out I feel so cold,

Sometimes I just feel like mould.
