The screen becomes a stage, as if I’m trapped inside a cage. I change the lens, I smooth the
skin, to conceal the insecurity held within.
But the filters went way too far, a mask of who you really are. A perfect jaw and plumped
lips, my skin is smooth to the tip.
The filters error, the reality returns, small insecurities back in its turn. I judge myself,
mirrored in front of me, and miss the self I used to see.
