Teenagers look in the mirror
they look at my face,
Then they see pictures online
from a different place.
Everyone seems perfect,
with smiles so bright and new,
But pictures can be edited,
and not all of them are true.
Sometimes they feel small,
like they do not fit in at all,
When they compare myself
to the people on their screen.
But they are more than looks,
more than likes or a trend.
More than just part of a society blend,
And have their own friends.
Their body is theirs,
it helps them move each day.
They can love who they are
In every single way.
