A lonely girl lying in bed,
Nobody knew she was more than just resting her head.
Age sixteen, trapped in a coma,
Missing out on her high school diploma.
In her head, she was trapped in an unknown world trying to escape,
From a deadly monster named Vecape.
You can hear the rumble, getting louder with the thunder,
The girl, hiding under,
The blood-dripping ceiling,
With a painful scratch on her arm, hoping it’s healing.
Then she saw the unappealing beast through the window,
But then it vanished, until she heard the song ‘tiptoe’.
She heard a mix of tiptoe and her favourite song,
Out through the window, a portal appeared, worrying it won’t be there for long.
She broke the window and sprinted through the portal,
And then woke up in the real world, where she belonged.
